I wrote Apple an idea that the keyboard should have vibrate feedback after the announcement of the iPhone.  I knew that the keyboard would be a bad feature as I already use one on my TomTom GPS.  They ignored it.  I entered it as a feature request on this site some time later.  Well, it seems that Samsung at least monitors good input.  They have come out with a Giorgio Armani phone and it has vibrating feedback!  I heard it on a G4 podcast this morning (The Daily Feed Video Podcast).
